Councillor Habib Rehman Joins Local Residents In The Second Saltwells Park Event
It began with thunder and rain - But the residents loved every minute of it! A big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it so much enjoyable and fun!
This year we had money problems, shortage of volunteers and the thunder and rain made it a very big challenge. The ground was wet and so many groups who were coming decided to not get their feet wet and so we had less information stalls than last year. However, we managed to get nearly all the fun and activities for kids.
Everyone loved it and had an excellent enjoyable Sunday afternoon. I would like to thank all the volunteers for helping make it such a success and look forward to next summer.
