A Specialist Unit Opens at Roseleigh Care Home on Lytton Street
A specialist unit named after Middlesbrough Football Club has been opened by two Boro Players, David Wheater and Tony McMahon on Thursday, 27 March 2008. After the ribbon cutting ceremony everyone was given a guided tour of the thirteen bed unit located within Roseleigh Care Home on Lytton Street.
This specialist unit will be used to treat people with a whole range of dementia and specialise in caring for those with Korsakoff's syndrome which is usually caused by excessive alcohol consumption.
