One Planet Living

Middlesbrough Council is now consulting on a draft One Planet Living Action Plan for the town.

The draft Action Plan and the Consultation Summary can both be downloaded from this website. They outline what the principles mean for Middlesbrough and describe some of the ways that the council is addressing them - but action is needed throughout the whole town.

A successful One Planet programme will need individuals and organisations across the whole community to commit to taking action as well. How could you contribute to making Middlesbrough a more sustainable, thriving, and greener town?

We are consulting on the draft Action Plan until 31 January 2011.
We will then update it by adding actions that other organisations and individuals are going to take.
