provided by private Landlords.
Due to a significant increase in fire injuries and fatalities Cleveland Fire Brigade request students to consider the following: -
Are all exits from your building kept free from obstruction and combustible materials?
Can all the exit doors from your building be easily used to leave the building at all times?
Is the building fitted with working smoke detectors?
If the building has smoke detectors are they mains powered?
If the answer to any of the above questions is no this may indicate that the property requires an inspection by Cleveland Fire Brigade.
