
Budget consultation
You are invited to attend a Middlesbrough Council Budget Consultation Presentation meeting.
The purpose of the consultation meeting is to discuss the Council’s general financial position, the budget setting process and potential council tax levels for 2009/10. It will not include fire or police, as their budgets are set separately.
The Consultation meeting is open to all Community Council representatives and interested residents. Please see details below to find out where your local meeting will be held:
North Middlesbrough (Ayresome, Gresham, Middlehaven and University)
Thursday 15 January 2009, 6.30pm – 8.30pm to be held at Newport Neighbourhood Centre, St Paul’s Road, Middlesbrough Town Centre.
East Middlesbrough (Beckfield, Berwick Hills, Brambles Farm, North Ormesby, Pallister Park, Park End and Thorntree)
Monday 12 January 2009, 6.30pm – 8.30pm to be held at Joe Walton Youth & Community Centre, The Neptune Centre, Ormesby Road, Middlesbrough.
South Middlesbrough (Hemlington, Coulby Newham, Marton, Marton West, Stainton & Thornton and Nunthorpe)
Thursday 22 January 2009, 6.30pm – 8.30pm to be held at Hemlington Library, Community Room, The Viewley Centre, Hemlington, Middlesbrough.
West Middlesbrough (Acklam, Beechwood, Ladgate, Clairville, Park Ward and Linthorpe, Brookfield, Kader)
Tuesday 20 January 2009, 6.30pm – 8.30pm to be held at the Friends Meeting House, Main Worship Room, Cambridge Road, Linthorpe, Middlesbrough.
